Baka had to keep from calling out as he watched the smallest of his experiments get manhandled without even the slightest chance to defend itself. He turned his head away just before the angry chattering sharpened into one final squeak. When he looked back, his thoughts went out to the poor janitor and how much of a surprise that would be when morning came around.

There were always other experiments to be had though. But not if he didn't persist.

The red-head was suddenly telling him to get out, but that was the last thing Baka could actually do. He couldn't leave! Not when he was so sure that the rest of his creations had to have wandered off in this particular area. What if one of them happened to get its first kill and he wasn't there to be the proud parent, witnessing the carnage?!

He needed a reason to keep up with these guys, and to keep them from trying to leave him.

Breaking his previous decision to "keep quiet", he scrambled up from the ground and called after them. "B-but wait! What if... there's more? You just said there could be more!"
