"Oh, great," Mike muttered when Niikura said that he had no idea what they were getting into, only to mutter it again when Niikura mentioned the sphinx. "Oh, great."

When they reached the locked door and Niikura finished inspecting the lock, Mike walked up to inspect it himself. It was doable, but he didn't have the right equipment for it. He couldn't even ask Shiina for some hair pins.

Mike let out a sigh and stepped back to give Niikura room. "If I had the right stuff, it'd be a snap. Break this one open, and I can look for things I can improvise with in the kitchen."
