Night 73: Patient Library
[From here.]
The library was quiet and dark when Lloyd entered, barring the light from their flashlights. Lloyd let the light from his flashlight play across the books, the floor, even the ceiling for good measure. He hadn't forgotten the monster that had seemed to slither out of the darkness just a couple of nights ago.
"You guys see anything?" He kept his voice soft, barely above a whisper. If there was something in here, he didn't want to attract its attention. Not that they'd be able to avoid it once they opened that secret door, but hopefully they'd be able to get out before anything blocked their path.

"Woo!" Korra's head fell back in relief as she made it into the library unscathed and unbothered. They were going to make it upstairs! And this time, they were actually going to get something done.
She shone her flashlight around the room, making sure they were alone.

She slipped in behind Korra, but instead of letting herself go in relief, she held her breath, searching the rows of the books just in case trouble had switched locations on them and moved shop to the library.
It was quiet there, too, so quiet it satisfied her assassin's standards. If there was something else in the room besides them, Tsubaki couldn't find it.
"I think it's just us..."
With that said, her gaze went to the shelf where the secret switch was.

"You ready?" she asked as she removed the book, the secret door sliding open. This was pretty much as far as they'd gotten. From now on, it was all something new. Korra's heart was racing; this was what she'd been waiting for.

"Yes, I'm ready," she assured, voice firm and unwavering. Assassins didn't turn away from the mission, regardless of whether or not Tsubaki intended to follow through with the rebels' wishes. At the moment, the mission was getting to the third floor and investigating as much of it as they could.
"I'm right behind you."
