Night 71: M-B Block Hallway
[From here.]
It had almost been a week since he'd come to this place. It felt a lot longer than that. He'd lost count of the number of times he'd passed through this hall, to the point that he almost felt like he didn't need his flashlight to navigate his way in the dark. Not that he had any intention of turning his flashlight off. His heart still thudded as he searched the darker corners for any sign of a monster's presence.
Nothing jumped out, though - at least not in this hall. Pressing forward, he moved on.

Though he was in an obvious hurry, Zero didn't actually go far once he made it out of his room. Sechs had asked to meet in this area, right? Hopefully he would be here quickly. The more time they had tonight, the better.
The once Reploid walked as far as the door leading out of the prisoner block before stopping and looking back, his eyes scanning the area for the fellow android... (Though he also kept his eyes and ears open for anything in general, especially after Landel's announcement.)

By then the ink-black illusions were starting to form just outside the edges of Sechs' vision, but he pressed on anyways. He may have been somewhat used to this particular side-effect of his M-U, but it didn't mean that something new could be thrown his way to distract him. The Replica had to focus on the reality in front of him, but he had to remain cautious of the enemy inside him as well.
It didn't take long for the android's long-legged stride to carry him to the meeting place he told Zero about, and just as he prowled into the block hallway Sechs caught the glimmer of long blond hair with his flashlight.
"Zero!" Forcing his discomfort behind a confident smirk, Sechs approached the smaller droid with his axe propped upon his shoulder and his flashlight lowered to the floor. He kept his gaze focused on Zero's face, ignoring the moving shadows shifting just outside of the corner of his eye. "Looks like we're on time! You ready?"
Sechs could only hope he himself was ready...

...Not that Zero had any reason to doubt that, nor was there any reason to be too impatient. Yet he was anyway. Hmm. Perhaps he was just a little too eager to go on this mission and fight whatever enemies they might face in the process...but being too eager wasn't necessarily a good thing. He'd have to watch himself.
In any case, he greeted the other android with a firm nod of his head, still looking as stoic as ever. "Always ready," he replied, and was already turning to the exit door before waiting for Sechs to say anything further. (But at least he had enough restraint to not actually head out the door until his ally started to follow.)

Raising his flashlight up, Sechs followed Zero closely as they stepped through the door and out into the first stretch of hallways before them. At this point Sechs was so familiar with such a setting that he was sick of it. These halls had become irritating nuisances when it came to getting to places quickly. Interruptions of any kind could slow them down there.
"C'mon, Aigis is gonna be waiting for us by the Sun Room," Sechs growled, and with that he took off down the hall.

Ed trotted out into the main hall for that block of rooms, and swept his flashlight back and forth to show anything that might be out of place.
