Night 70: F-A Block Hallway

Korra rounded the corner into the bigger block hallway quickly. The flashlight felt bulky and unnatural in her hand, but it cast off more light than a safely sized flame could in the hallways. Frustrating as it was, she had to get around even at night without much help from her bending.
Soma's words of warning still tingled in the back of her mind, as well. What it it was somehow limited?
The Avatar shook her head, pushing forward.

Uryuu moved quickly through the halls, and now, upon entering the corridor from which the halls of female rooms branched off, flicked on his flashlight. He swept it along the doors as he walked. F40, F30... then, at the end, F10.
Logically, F2 would be at the end of that hall. The possibility that she wouldn't be there remained a heavy constant in his mind. Would it be worth knocking at every door, checking every room in every hall? Would he be simply kidding himself at that point? His teeth grit against a sigh, against what he already knew to be true.
Not that he was the type to put everything on gut feelings. It was all he could do to keep from starting to jog, impatience and worry fueling the adrenaline in his veins.
