Night 68: Stairwell by Nurse's Station 1-B

Now came the hard part, at least as far as getting there was concerned. Though Kyousuke was beginning to heal at least a little—or just getting too used to the pain for his own good—moving around could still be tough if he wasn't careful, and stairs aggravated that.
For now, he gripped onto the railing, using it as a crutch to make his steps as even as possible, while forcing his face to stay as smooth. He'd just have to clench his teeth again; there was no use complaining about it.

Stairs. Well, the monkey knew at least one way to solve this dilemma. Grabbing a hold of the railing (and bending it beneath its fingers besides), it leaped over the the side with ease. The impact was shaky to say the least. Beneath its feet, the floor cracked and left a decent-sized dent from where it had made contact.
Now, cramped in a small stairwell, it fought to reach the door, letting nothing get in its way, be it walls or stairs. His big hands clawed for the handle, anything to help pull him free of his unexpected cage. Eventually, strength won over human ingenuity, and the creature pulled the door away to make his escape.
