Night 68: Main Hallway, 1-West
[From here]
And there he was. Link stood near the wall, idly tapping the toe of his boot against the ground as he waited for Soma and the others she had recruited. He doubted they would take long. Soma seemed like a competent young woman. Hopefully that meant that she would have found strong allies to take with them.
He stood with his flashlight, along with the katana she had allowed him to borrow. Link was in his tunic from home, as he always was at night.
[For Soma and the Green Team!]

Fortunately, Zero made it to the main hallway quite quickly and without any problems. Mission to get out of the prisoner blocks: accomplished.
Now for the next impossible task: making it across this hallway (without running into any prisoners, of course) and into the stairwell. With a flashlight, this would be a piece of cake. Without it... Zero was going to have to guess where the stairwell was while dodging every flashlight beam he encountered. This was going to be...interesting.
At least it seemed he'd made it out here before most of the other prisoners. He couldn't hear much activity in here, nor could he see that many shadows or beams of light around. That was good. Zero did his best to keep his eyes off of the people he'd noticed were around as he bravely left the security of the wall and walked forward.
It couldn't have taken him more than a few seconds to make it to the other side, but it felt like several minutes to him. His whole body was tense, expecting something else to go wrong at any given moment. A person crossing his field of vision (as poor as it was right now), or a monster sneaking up behind him - something, anything that could make things worse than the lack of a flashlight.
None of those things happened, ultimately, and Zero made it to the other wall just fine. In fact, the sought-after stairwell was practically right in front of him, too. Lucky...but he wasn't about to let his guard down yet. This was only part one of his journey tonight, after all.
