Night 68: M-A Block Hallway
[from here]
For all the halls themselves weren't terribly different, the dark corridors sent a shiver up Al's spine. Perhaps it was knowing there were monsters prowling, but not where or how many--or who they'd been before. How fast did that sickness take effect? He had no idea if there was an hour or so of breathing room before his fellow inmates here might turn on him.
It wasn't a pleasant thought. Gripping the torch a bit tighter, he opened the door to the hallway.

Well, this was definitely the right block. The question was, where to from here? Anise searched her memory for any recollection of Luke's room number. M19? No, that was from way back. M50? ... That was an old one too, and it wasn't even in this block. With all the times Luke had come and gone from the institute, his room number had changed a lot.
"Do you remember which room he was in?" she asked Guy with a hopeful look.

Still, after a few moments of sitting there thinking through it, Guy turned to Anise and let out a sigh. "I think it was one of the earlier numbers. Six or seven or something like that, maybe?" He wished he'd written it down somewhere, but there wasn't much they could do about it now.
They had something to go on, so he led Anise down the hall with the rooms numbered from one to ten. It was a place to start.
