Night 68: M-A Block Hallway
[from here]
For all the halls themselves weren't terribly different, the dark corridors sent a shiver up Al's spine. Perhaps it was knowing there were monsters prowling, but not where or how many--or who they'd been before. How fast did that sickness take effect? He had no idea if there was an hour or so of breathing room before his fellow inmates here might turn on him.
It wasn't a pleasant thought. Gripping the torch a bit tighter, he opened the door to the hallway.

Castiel found that he was leaning on the walls to keep his balance more often than not as he made his way down the hall, but he preferred that to having to use those crutches. His arms were still sore from using them the day before, not to mention getting between the shifts today.
He wrapped his free arm loosely around his side, as if to keep his wound protected. As he got closer to the block's exit, he saw a familiar head of red hair. Kratos? Any other time, he might have sped up to see for himself, but that wasn't exactly possible at the moment.
Instead, Castiel went at his slow pace until he finally reached the door and half-walked, half-stumbled through it.
