Night 67: Main Hallway, 1-West
[from here --and waiting for Ryusei!]
There still wasn't a lot of people in the halls, and it was starting to make him nervous. Maybe he should try to find someone to hang out with tonight. Snow and Celty had insisted on how Mikado shouldn't be alone at night--it wouldn't hurt to take their advice. But it would be strange to just go up to someone and ask to walk around with them.
...Wouldn't it?
He made a face, and paused in the hall, looking around. He was more aware of the bandages covering his eye in the dim, and even wearing his own clothes didn't negate that uncomfortability. He was suddenly starting to think he should have just stayed inside.

The route back toward the male cell blocks was clear, but Aidou kept up a swift pace nonetheless. He needed to get back. His trip had not taken long, however it'd been long to likely make Sasuke antsy. Assuming the boy was ready to tackle the cavernous area again.
He supposed picking a place to meet would have reduced the amount of uncertainty... Who would've thought he'd have been moved to a new cell, though?

It was -- Sasuke confirmed it as soon as he stepped more fully into the main hallway, confusion speared with irritation tempered in turn by relief that another night's delay was at least not fully recognized.
Whatever Aidou was doing in the hallway was less inconvenient than anything that might have transpired in an experimental cell; that fact did little to hide the hint of impatience in Sasuke's tone as he drew level with the vampire, moving with enough obviousness to be heard and recognized.
"Did you need to check on Aigis again?"

When he was awake, Sasuke was no more interested in sitting on his thumbs than Aidou was, so he supposed he shouldn't have been surprised that the boy had abandoned the cell block in favor of going on the move. It would've been a little rude if Sasuke had teleported straight out of the male block, but he seemed to have decided that giving Aidou a chance to get back was worth waiting a few minutes. Well, good! The noble did so hate to be doubted, even if in this case doubt was justified.
So far everything was working out.
He stopped short at the sight of Sasuke, one hand on his hip. "Fortunate you came this way, that saves even more time. To answer your question, I did, but they also moved me to a different block--it's M10, now. An unexpected nuisance. Hardly worth travelling the distance to you, then back to her again. But now that matter of business is done, and there is a rumored cure in the wind, besides; that situation can surely be left alone for a night."

In any case: he committed the new room to memory and let it go in favour of the more interesting news of a cure.
"We'll need to designate a meeting place," was his concession to the inconvenience of the move, with full awareness that it had been Aidou time and again who had woken him from the grip of the Institute's brand of hazy forced sleep. At least for tonight, this would work: expecting Aidou to forgive haste in favour of saving time, Sasuke lifted a hand to the vampire's arm, lifted the ring, and smashed it against the wall.
