Night 65: Kitchen
[From here]
The kitchen was as dark as the cafeteria had been, so the small beams of the flashlights continued to be a necessary evil. They might have made it easier for the creatures lurking in the darkness to notice them, but chances were that they would have been noticed by hearing and smell alone anyway. Moreover, Seishin was fairly certain he would have ended up bumping into something without the aid of those lights, which would have made a significant amount of noise.
But the kitchen remained completely silent after their arrival. The beam the former priest swept around only revealed the area to be spotless. Warily, he continued moving -- they might have been able to travel through the previous rooms without being attacked, but there was no telling when their luck would run out.

"I don't like how easy this has been," Ilia whispered as they hurried along. At least the kitchen itself wasn't as large as the last two rooms. They could quickly make it to the walk-in refrigerator without impediment.
Ilia only needed to use her Palm of Destruction to easily knock the rusty lock off, then led them both into their next destination.

Once inside the kitchen with the door carefully closed behind, Facilier switched on his flash light and began his search for much-needed brewing equipment. He wasn't too pleased with the fact that it was him doing this work, it was all meant to be done for him! But that so-called "Mighty Pirate" Guybrush disappeared and Facilier had not heard from that Sora lad since their trip to Doyleton. So far that Rock Lee fool had some promise of gathering materials for the Bokor, so hopefully this scavenging business wouldn't remain a nightly routine.
For now, it was time to find some bowls, spoons, bottles and other mixing tools and it wasn't long before both Doctor and Shadow were rummaging them out of the kitchen shelves. Facilier picked out an egg beater, a butter knife, a ladle and a handful of metal stirring spoons. Meanwhile the Shadow had snatched up a whole armful of pots and pans, measuring cups, bowls and plates. The Bokor's dark counterpart gestured towards his pillow case and when Facilier opened it up for the Shadow to carefully deposit the goods, it instead unceremoniously dropped everything inside with a resounding crash.
"SHHHHH!" Facilier pressed a finger to his lips at his chortling Shadow, scowling at it as his ears rang from the metallic cacophony. "Just because y'all have your powers back doesn't mean you can go looking for trouble!" he berated his dark twin who only shrugged in reply. "Merde....! Just as bad as the Loa during Mardi Gras...!" Facilier thought to himself with a roll of his eyes as he threw the heavy pillow case over his shoulder. The Shadow only grinned and followed suit as they made way to one of the pantries.

Gren opened the door slowly, peering through the darkness for any over signs of trouble. It looked deserted, however, and previous safe passage had him feeling a little more secure about this location than he did the larger rooms.
"Looks like the coast is clear," he called back to Hakkai as he stepped into the room.

"Someone else got here first, I suppose. Hopefully nobody we don't want to meet." He tried to make the words sound light-hearted, even though he wasn't really feeling it.

Something on the floor caught his eye, and he walked over, picking up part of a rather rusted lock that looked a little worse for the wear. "Whoever it was, I think I know where they went."
There was only one locked area in the kitchen, and only one real reason to go there, as far as he could tell.

"They've made things a bit easier for us, anyway." He headed to the refrigerator at the back of the room, and pulled the door open to look inside.
