Night 65: F-A Block Hallway

[from here]

Lana had pried herself back out of bed before exhaustion could overtake her -- now, she moved through the hallway with purpose. Anyone who knew her might be able to spot that she was moving at perhaps half the speed she usually did, but the hall was empty.

As soon as they were all through the door, Kratos was back in position, sweeping the surrounding area for any sign of danger as they made their way forward. They were nearly there, just a turn and a bit of room number-reading to go. It had taken them a little longer than expected, but hopefully, that would turn out in their favor by giving Rapunzel more time to catch her breath in between healings; he hadn't missed her earlier note on the board offering her assistance.

"Do you know her room number?" he asked to no one in particular, although clearly only Castiel would know. It had been a while since he had been on this side of the patient blocks--in fact, he was starting to think that this was the first time--but the numbering was probably the same; it wouldn't be too hard to find the right hall to turn down.

"Thank you," Gabriel murmured as they passed by Kratos. Similarly, the Archangel's gaze darted around this new corridor, though he very willingly let the swordsman lead. The question wasn't directed to him, Castiel knew, but it did remind him of who they were going to meet.

"Do you know her well?" Gabriel asked, directing the question at either of the two who wanted to answer.

And now all they needed to do was find the right room. Of course, Castiel hadn't let the number that Rapunzel had given him slip from his mind. Not that such a thing was even possible. Angels had perfect memories, after all. Though on the other hand, he wasn't technically much of an angel anymore.

That was irrelevant. He glanced over to Kratos and gave out the number. "F15," he said as he glanced around the halls. It didn't take him long to do the quick mental math and work out which hallway that room would be located in, and he started to urge Gabriel toward it.
