Other than passing a blond kid back in his room block and then watching as a teenage girl with pale hair stepped into the door he'd just left, Harvey hadn't encountered much in the way of other patients so far. And definitely no patients-turned-monsters. That was just fine by him. It probably made sense, since he imagined it would take time for a human body to warp into something else.

As Harvey walked, he tucked his journal under his arm and shoved his hands in his pockets, feeling his coin in one and the bone bracelet in the other. Right now, both of them were small comforts, but he didn't need much of a push to move down the hall.
