NIGHTSHIFT 62: WEST WING, North HALL 1-A
[From here]
Loki kept his pace purposeful as he entered the hallway, retracing steps he'd taken each of the nights before with confidence. Now he was more willing to not bother pausing, trusting his keen hearing to pick up any potential problems.
He remembered the way to the medical wing precisely, and the process would be much faster without having to play dumb for the benefit of mortals.

Yet another empty hallway greeted him. Harvey frowned, realizing that he probably should have encountered at least one other patient by now. Having slept for who knows how long, there were any number of possibilities for what could have happened. An epidemic that he'd been spared from, if Landel's talk of symptoms was anything to go by. Harvey wished that he'd been more awake during that announcement, but as things stood it was all far too vague.
Still, if Landel was still making his little broadcasts, that meant there were still other patients to broadcast to. Harvey wasn't going to jump to any conclusions until he'd reached the main hall, at least.
Of course, the very fact that he'd been asleep for longer than the norm was something to be worried about. That was usually a bad sign, and he'd never slept through a whole day (or more) like that. Was this the beginning of the end? And if that was the case, where was he headed? Did he want to stop the process, or was this finally his way out?
Too many questions, not enough answers. Harvey aimed his flashlight down the abandoned hallway and kept moving.
