Scar's attempt (because, truly, there wasn't another way to put his manner of eating) to eat his breakfast was interrupted when a second nurse saw fit to approach him. That usually meant one thing, and his green eyes shifted to the poor fool she had brought along with her; a human-looking child with a rather...curious looking mane. The boy's hair pointed in literally every direction. It looked like as if you could be impaled on it were you particularly unfortunate enough. Like a porcupine.

...and he was to look after him?! Yes, because he truly looked like he wouldn't mind sharing the company of some ignorant child. And hyenas were the most intelligent species he had ever seen. He didn't bother hiding the facial expression that told anyone what exactly he thought of such a doubtlessly brilliant idea. Unfortunately, the nurse had already ran off to the buffet line before Scar could voice any sort of objection.

Wasn't he supposed to be mentally ill and all that? Of was he, according to the nurses, suddenly declared sane enough to look after this particularly irritating species? "Oh, goody..." he muttered to himself, barely audible. Babysitting was just what he needed after all he had been through. He resisted a sigh when the boy voiced his question.

"I believe she is getting it for you," he answered in a rather condescending tone, picking at his own breakfast. Truly, some people had such simple needs...
