The nurse waited a moment longer after the two patients backed down again, not entirely convinced by the man's insistence that they were fine. When it seemed that they had calmed down, though, and nobody planned to start using their utensils in new and creative ways, she offered the group a bright, cheery smile and nodded. "All right, everyone! Enjoy your breakfast, and do please try to get along? Okay!"

And with that she bustled off again with her escort in tow, though they didn't go too far away. Just in case, they'd be keeping an eye on the trio for the rest of the shift, should intervention be needed again.
