"So they've been duped into this role." That boded ill. Even if she did manage to maneuver out of her nurse's range, she would still get the same response from any other nurse here. But what was the point? If this wasn't the work of Asmodeus, and that was looking less and less like the case with each passing moment, then who was responsible for this mix up? Even if the Demon Gate had sent her far away from her intended destination, she shouldn't have been mistaken for anyone she wasn't upon her immediate arrival.

Ilia nodded when Leela admitted to being less knowledgeable about their location. She sounded like she was in the same pickle as Ilia--likely pulled from somewhere unexpected and given a false name. But at least the date was more or less the same she expected; about three hundred years before her own time, so it looked like the Demon Gate has only sent her to another where and not also to another when.

"Oh, well..." Ilia paused, unsure of how much information she should give out. Not that she didn't trust this woman. Leela had been nothing if not generous in giving her information, but she was still hesitant. And she had also asked from when. Should Ilia be honest about that? They had to be careful what they said when on Roak. But this was Earth, and Leela had asked specifically. Not to mention the way she talked made her sound like perhaps she also was not from that time and place. The words "human zoo" also set warning bells off in her head.

Maybe she really was talking with a crazy person. Then it couldn't hurt to be truthful, could it? Ilia still had reservations, after all Leela didn't seem crazy or unstable, but if something wrong was going on here she needed information. And being honest here might help her in the long run. But she sure wished she had her captain here to help make these snap judgments easier to swallow.

"I was born on Earth, but I joined the Terrain Alliance and now call space my home." She wondered how unrealistic that might sound to someone from this end of the twenty-first century. Probably not as crazy as what she was about to say. "And, as for the time, I come from Space Date 323. Um, I guess you might call it the twenty-fifth century if you're going by the Gregorian calendar." She hoped that didn't sound too weird. It had fallen a little awkwardly off her tongue. Better to get the conversation away from herself for a moment.

"What about you, Leela?" Ilia chuckled a moment, her hand moving to the back of her head sheepishly. "And I hope you don't mind me asking but what did you mean by human zoo?"
