She could have still pictured the pair of birds swooped, and the heat of flames licking her side. As well as a call: "I'm blind!" Renamon could almost laugh now. She had been so blind herself, hadn't she? But Toph was so capable by herself. Renamon would never have guessed the fact given the night.
That was so long ago now, wasn't it? It bordered on three weeks, and the Digimon sobered. What must Rika think of her, still in here after all this time? What could her Tamer think? It had been... far too long. And taken more than Renamon would have realized.
