Nunnally opened her mouth to say something about it, but paused to listen instead when the intercom switched on. It was an intriguing thought, and probably something Lelouch had considered, but before she could ask the intercom announcement turned into a piercing whine.

Nunnally automatically lifted hands to ears, but it seemed to do little or nothing to muffle the unusually painful noise. Fortunately it didn't last too long, but she kept her hands in place for a moment longer just in case before lowering them again with a grimace and slight shake of her head. That didn't seem like the sort of microphone feedback that she'd ever heard before, did it?
