Aigis had just finished detailing an exact copy of Carter's sketch from earlier on the back of her picture she had been allowed to return with to her room when the radio on her desk sputtered out its message. This "Marc" seemed enthusiastic about helping them, but his words were lost before his message could be completed. Aigis hoped it was only an electronic error but she wouldn't put it past Landel to fill them with hope and then cut off their only connection to potential allies in the outside world. Aigis wished the man luck, but she didn't want to rely on his help in case it was all some elaborate trap.

Placing her picture now in the folds of her notebook between the pages of her newest journal entry (http://no-dont-go.livejournal.com/2977.html), she retrieved her flashlight and then the baseball bat from the closet. Taking a deep breath, Aigis stepped out her door.
