Leela was taken aback for a moment by the abrupt question. She definitely got the feeling the pleasantries were over, and now Forte was getting down to business. Was he recruiting for some not-robot army, or was he just belligerent? No one had ever said that 'robot' and 'punk' were mutually exclusive.

She set her plastic spoon down, so she could give him the full effect of crossing her arms and raising one eyebrow, a neat trick she'd never gotten much of a chance to use on anyone before. "Yeah. I can fight." If he wanted to go for it right now, that might be a problem. Leela was getting the hang of this depth-perception thing, but her primary weapons were in the closet, Betty having decisively vetoed wearing them indoors. "I've kicked the asses of things that don't even have asses."
