At least Otacon seemed to have his side. Yes, his life was nothing a child should be exposed to. Fullmetal had been forced to grow up too fast (though in many ways, he was still a child) - that serial killer, Tucker combining his daughter and his dog, the war...

It seemed that Rufus was taking back his earlier comment, so the colonel did his best to accept that. The president didn't know a thing about him, after all. He shouldn't have made such judgments.

When Otacon revealed just how much he knew, however, Roy couldn't stop himself from tensing. That... How could he know something that personal? He narrowed his eyes, suddenly coming off as very defensive. "I... see." The voice actor thing was hard for him to wrap his head around, but he wasn't going to question it.

He sent Snake a well-meaning nod as he joined them, but before long the intercom was blaring again. Personally, Roy was more than ready to get away from the conversation.

"Until next time," he told the three other men, standing from his chair and heading for his nurse.
