"Okay, good." Hughes nodded. "And you know, if you do need to talk about anything, I'm here." He wanted Ed to know that. "And you know anything you say will be kept between you and me. You've got my word on that." He earned trust by keeping trust, after all. "So... what's he like?"

He wasn't going to just drop it.

"Oh, hey now, that's Gracia's department!" Hughes held up his hands, laughing. "And Elysia's not dating until she's thirty. Thirty five even. I was a teenage boy, I'm not letting any of them anywhere near her!" He winked some, clearly joking.

"That's good, Ed, I'm glad to hear that. But you know.... plenty of people around here probably are looking to take the edge off. You might want to keep that in mind."
