Speaking with Ronixis had served as a good way to calm down after having to deal with Sync, but by the time he parted ways with the man Guy realized that he was hungry. His frustration with the God-General had hindered his appetite for a bit, but it was coming back in full force now. Dealing with Sync so early in the morning was something he hoped he wouldn't have to deal with again. Unfortunately, Guy wasn't sure if he was that lucky.
He was going to stop thinking about Sync, though. Letting himself be bothered by the Tempest even when he wasn't around would just be giving him what he wanted. So Guy put it from his mind and then escaped the rain -- which seemed to only be getting worse as the day drew on -- by ducking into the Tasty Burger.
While he could have gone on a search for the Twin Pines restaurant (which might serve fish, he sadly realized), trying to do that when the weather was reaching downpour levels didn't seem like the best idea. He didn't want to end up sick on top of everything else.
Taking a moment to dry off in the entrance way of the eating establishment, Guy let out a sigh and then went to go stand in line. He probably looked like a drowned cheagle right now, but no one he knew who might have teased him (Jade or Anise, in other words) was in the restaurant at the moment.
He remembered when he'd come here with Claude and Ashton a few weeks back, and tried not to think about how much had happened since then. In the end, Guy could only be glad that he was still here. He couldn't stop himself from repeating that in his head like a mantra ever since the coliseum.
