Ranulf jaunted down the steps of the bus, closing his eyes and inhaling the cool mid-morning air through his nostrils. It was so nice to be outside. Although he found the "technology" of the asylum intriguing, he felt infinitely more "at home" where he was standing.
After savoring the air for a moment (and getting jostled and glared at by other patients trying to exit the bus), he opened his eyes to view what he'd seen through the window. They seemed to have arrived in a small village, which was unlike any he'd seen before. Frowning a bit, he searched the mob for a familiar face, but didn't find one.
Pushing through a few of the smaller groups, he turned around and began to walk backwards looking for Tsubaki or Momo. Even the nervous Ritsu would've been nice company in this strange new environment. Unfortunately for Ranulf, he still hadn't gotten used to his missing tail and he lost his balance, colliding into the back of a blonde-haired man and falling into the mud on his rear.
"Oh!" he said, looking up apologetically at the stranger. "I'm sorry! I'm still not used to this-..." he paused for a moment, wondering how much he should say, but decided to keep it at that. "I didn't mean to crash into you. I hope I didn't startle you!"
