Upon waking up, Guy found that his mood was conflicted. On one hand, Luke had successfully been equipped with a weapon, which made him feel much better about his friend being here. He knew that Luke could have handled himself even without being armed, but this definitely increased his chances of making it through the nights unscathed. On the other hand, they'd found evidence of someone setting a room on fire and Guy hadn't gotten the chance to speak to Luke about his memory issues as a result.

Having that issue unresolved made him restless, but he could at least be distracted by their trip into town. Then again, he wasn't exactly eager to go back after what had happened last time. There was no saying for sure that they would be attacked by those zombies again, but there was also no way of knowing that they wouldn't be. And after what had happened to him and Claude, he really didn't want to go through that again. Who would?

As usual, a nurse came in and set a change of clothing on the bed for him. Luckily enough, Guy got a pair of warm leggings that he was able to tuck into some waterproof boots -- it made him feel a little more like himself, since this was closer to the clothing he was used to wearing. His upper body didn't fare quite as well, as he was given a thermal long-sleeved shirt and then a red windbreaker to wear over it. It was a little too bright for his tastes, but he doubted the nurse was going to care about his sense of fashion.

One thing he could be excited about was the buses, though. Even though no one had ever bothered to tell him the details about how they worked, it was still a treat to ride on the vehicles. Smiling, Guy collected his breakfast and his coupons and stepped into one of the buses.

The first thing he did was look for Luke (or any of his other friends from Auldrant), but the only familiar face he spotted was Leon's. With human ears again. Figuring that he should take the time to speak with the kid and properly thank him for the night before, Guy waved at the boy before sitting next to him.

He noticed the kid's strange clothing, but didn't comment on it. "You feeling better this morning?" he asked with a small frown.
