That wasn't much of an explanation at all, was it? Zack couldn't see why Aidou would avoid answering a question about clothing of all things, but maybe it was just that the kid's mind was on other things. If he wanted to be efficient and fast about this, then that was understandable. Zack knew that his wardrobe was hardly the most important thing in this place.

"Of course I'm ready," he said with a quick grin as he stepped out of the room and closed the door behind him. He clicked his flashlight on and pointed it down the hall. The Sun Room, huh? So the way to get down was somewhere around there? At least it would be familiar territory for part of the way.

"Sounds good," he confirmed when Aidou promised a mission briefing of sorts. Seeing how Zack knew where he was going for this stretch of the journey, he didn't hesitate in walking down the hall. If Aidou was the sort who always wanted to be in the lead, then he could easily move ahead of him.
