At the sound of a voice nearby, Anise suddenly slammed the notebook shut, becoming conscious of some of the names she'd written in there. It would be pretty awkward if one of those people she named as suspicious ended up reading it over her shoulder, or something.
But fortunately, the kid who approached her turned out to be a complete stranger who was just looking for a place to sit. (Or maybe looking for a cute girl to sit next to?) If it was a stranger, then Anise supposed she didn't mind so much if he caught any glimpses of what she was writing. It'd be better if he took the seat next to her than if it was left open and someone related to one of her 'mysteries' came along instead.
Okay, that settled it! Anise looked up at the kid with an inviting grin. "Not at all! Go ahead." She then opened the notebook once again, searching through the pages for the one she was last looking at. It looked like she had ten entries written down so far, but she could probably do a lot more than that if she just gave it some more thought.
