Alright! This was so great! Not only had he found a fellow healer, they'd actually found a way to really make a difference to the people here at night! If there was one thing that had been weighing heavily on Kibitoshin's mind (other than the monsters and keeping track of all the new people he'd met and Trunk's worrying silence), it was the thought that he hadn't been doing enough to help the rest of the patients. After all, he was the guardian of the universe! The guardian! It was his duty to protect as many people as possible! With any luck, though, this was going to be his chance to make amends. If he couldn't stop the Institute from existing, fixing people up when it hurt them with Hanatarou wasn't too bad an alternative.

Not even the chill of the courtyard was enough to weigh down his hopes- even if his nurse had seemed intent on weighing him down full stop, bundling him up in a sweater, outdoor shoes and a coat before she let him take one step outside of the Institute. The sweater itched and the shoes weren't quite the right size, but he didn't have the heart to argue with her.

Anyway, it was cold outside. Cold enough that the only thing he had the presence of mind to do was sit down and shiver on one of the benches- the same one, in fact, he'd been introduced to Franziska on. Who new? Maybe it was a lucky spot.

... on second thoughts... was he really lucky to have met her? Now there was something to think about. Well, even if she didn't want him to think so, he would; there was something almost rebellious about that, Kibitoshin felt. In a nice, quiet way. An unobtrusive rebellion that definitely (hopefully) wouldn't earn him another bruise. Maybe.
