If Fai was seriously injured he'd probably smile and claim that he was just fine, judging from past experience, so the only way that he could really be certain was to watch for clues.

There didn't seem to be anything seriously wrong with him, other than what Yue was already aware of, so he finally relented and offered a slight shrug in response to the question.
