Okay, he certainly wasn't expecting anything like this. "How are you alive? Are you human?" Maybe he was a robot? He'd seen enough crazy designs to believe there might be one with a huge bolt through its head for no reason, but why would one be here? Apparently looking like a human, except for the obvious contradiction.
