Adelheid noticed the swarm the instant that he stepped out into the hallway. The buzz of their wings was unmistakable, and Adelheid wasn't going to let them remain there, when there were so many others who needed protecting. He saw Larsa, he saw Nick, and he knew that Edward and Tamaki were both going to need help getting through this.
It seemed, once again, that it was his strength that was important. Especially as someone had already thrown the swarm into disarray, making it an easy task to attract their attention. ...though, somehow, the image of Larsa being held under another man's arm like a sack of grain was infinitely amusing to the tall blond.
Regardless, there was work to do. "Larsa! If anyone on your side can use this, then please do so!" With that he flung the rapier, spinning, through the entire swarm, hoping to cut through them and get through the other side. He was utterly confident that it wouldn't hit anyone; he'd modeled that technique off of Mai Shiranui's own throwing abilities, and unless someone bolted or otherwise messed things up, he was certain it would be fine.
As for himself? He took a deep breath as he readied his spear, preparing himself for what might happen. There were a lot of options, but... If he messed up, even once, then that swarm would likely tear him apart before he could make up for that mistake. It would all depend on what he could do and what everyone else did...
