He took a bite of the food, not really tasting it, but smiling just as always back at the other man. On the surface it was like so many of the other times they'd shared insults and teasings. Inwardly, he felt just as lost and confused as ever. This place seemed to enjoy breaking what little sense of self he had left and smashing those bits into even tinier pieces until there was nothing but dust.
