The name alone was enough to cause Kristoph to freeze uncharacteristically. Manfred. Von Karma. The infamous prosecutor known for his nearly perfect record and not-quite-perfect crime. The perfect example for law students on what not to do. Hadn't he died--oh, when was this? No, time hardly mattered. All that was important was that the man had died and was now standing before Kristoph like a corpse newly revived.

Suddenly, the night of the undead seemed even more ironic.

For once, he refrained from smiling, choosing instead to offer a curious look. "Correct. Your ability to observe is quite impeccable." Somewhat. "I take it you are from the same?"
