"If it is, we'll just have to tell Homura that there's no case without evidence," Shinichi shrugged back, also pointedly ignoring the way that the announcements were making the hair on the back of his neck stand straight up. "The body's the only link we've got to the crime, without it..." He trailed off, and the uneasy silence picked up again, punctuated by the screams and moans coming from every speaker in the building.

The detective shivered.

"I feel like I'm in a bad horror movie," he joked unconvincingly. His voice sounded small and hollow, even to his own ears. "Wonder who the red shirt is."
