Sora seemed awfully enthusiastic. There was nothing wrong with that, of course. It reminded Faize of the comrades he left behind on Aeos. Those who could face danger and horror without losing their passion and kindness... they were truly admirable, in his eyes. Over time, Faize felt that he had lost much of himself to grief and despair. Perhaps he was just a weaker person.

Hitsugaya was wise to assign the formation he did. It was only logical for the best-equipped fighters to take the front and rear. While Faize couldn't fully shake his doubts about the youth, he was showing a fair amount of competence as a leader so far. Faize only hoped that his skills in symbology were not hindered too greatly, and that he would be able to provide backup should a fight be unavoidable.

The Eldarian followed behind the young captain, assisting with his flashlight. For the moment, it was the only way he could make himself useful to the group.
