"No," Brainiac 5 answered, scanning the hallway for others. It seemed to be clear for the most part, so he relaxed a little. As much as he could with the constant noise coming over the intercom and the occasional flickers glimpsed out of the corner of his eye. At one point he was certain he'd seen a glimpse of something vividly red, but it was gone as soon as he turned his head.

If at all possible he'd have to try and finish this up quickly, so that he could keep moving and try and find out what had happened to Peter.
