This had been a most annoying day. He'd been dragged away from Jade and herded to another one of the white rooms; he was told on the way there that he would be sleeping in said room for the duration of his stay at the Institute, and that over dinner he would have the chance to get to know his roommate.

Imagine! The beautiful Dist being forced to share a bedroom! He made his displeasure known in the most grating way possible, but his concerns were dismissed with a wave of a hand and a forced smile. He tried the doorknob after the woman left and found it locked, so he kicked the door a couple times and moved to one of the beds to sulk and pick through the food he'd been given. Hopefully his roommate wouldn't object to which bed Dist had left him.

Not that Dist could be persuaded to move even if he did.
