Nataku didn't interrupt him. Maybe their situations weren't exactly the same, but it was close enough for him. His father could never be called a good person, so when he did what he did there was only a dreaded sense of inevitability for Nataku. It must have been cold and nasty for Jason to learn, at the least, the respect and affection he obviously held for his own father had not been mutual - or deserved, as far as Nataku was concerned.
"No, it's not." He replied, shaking his head. "That's never easier." After all, he would know about not being able to make choices.
