Nathan hadn't been so stupid as to think he was out in the clear just yet -- he was still convinced they needed to find a bus and get out of there that way -- but the sight was unnerving, nonetheless. He did another double-take, looking back at Peter, making certain his brother was still there. The worst thing would be to look back too late, and find out Peter was gone again.
