Sync wasn't sure how long it took them to reach the end, but by the time they made it to Germaine Street there was hardly an inch of him that wasn't covered in blood. The coagulating liquid had long since soaked into his shoes and pants, turning them a dark shade of reddish black that bled all the way to his thighs. Meanwhile his arms suffered the same fate, the same rotting blood drenching both his sleeves up to his shoulders.
The teen had expected this kind of mess considering the staggering amount of monsters, but he wasn't prepared for the wave of exhaustion that was beginning to envelop his entire body. Even now his limbs quivered, joints protesting each time he moved. It was strange; endurance was a key factor to being a fighter, but he found it odd that he'd be so tired so soon...
However, he didn't have time to think about it now. Everywhere they went there were even more monsters, but Sync stubbornly moved forward, keeping an eye out for anything that remotely resembled an inn. Unfortunately, relief wasn't there even after they moved through the entire street, but the teen was already on the move.
"Let's go this way," Sync shouted at Dahlia above the roar of her weapon, pointing north.
