Alex was more than a little upset when he realized he'd slept through the first shift. The night had been rough, even if it hadn't been a Special Counseling night. He had managed to get away with not getting into any serious scuffles, but that had required a lot of running. He wasn't particularly proud of making so many retreats, but...

Well, there were a lot of reasons he didn't want to fight most of the creatures that came out at night. He knew that if things continued as they did, he was going to have to get over it, but he was doing his best not to think about that.

At the moment, he just wanted to know what had happened in the Chapel. There seemed to be a lot of buzz about that and from what he had gathered, it sounded like the Head Doctor had finally showed his face. He was just going to have to find someone who had been there and see what he could learn from them. Sure, there was the bulletin board to read, but he doubted reading what had been said was the same as being there. He was upset that he'd missed out.

After gathering a hefty amount of food - way too much fruit and that strange sandwich they called a hamburger - Alex searched for someone who didn't seem too busy. It didn't take long to spot someone, who he sat down next to with a friendly smile.

"Hey there." He wasn't going to start questioning the guy right away. Might as well make a friend while he was at it, right?
