Hughes had heard on the bulletin board that the Head Doctor himself had showed his face. Now he almost wished he'd been in the chapel. To be able to see the man... and, well, he wanted to see if his guesses about the man had been right. But if the man showed up once, he'd show up again.

Now it was brunch, and Hughes was more concerned with who was going to actually show up. He didn't plan on keeping folks long - there was no need to drag this out the entire meal - but he wanted to make some progress.

Hopefully no one would keep him waiting too long.
