Suddenly his wounds seemed minor, compared to the image of his lungs bursting or losing his sight. The tracker had pictured his body falling victim to outside harm, but his internal workings breaking down and betraying him without any way of opening his body and repairing it was...well, if the idiot was still here, he'd have given him another way of knowing whether you were about to purge.
