When the evening intercom announcement finished, it seemed the night was going to proceed normally despite what the other patients claimed. However, it wasn't long until it came on again, this time with a much more sinister message.

The Head Doctor's voice was cut off abruptly, and soon after there was a click from the door. Faize retrieved the flashlight from atop his bed and cracked the door open cautiously, peering into the dark hallway with the light aiding him. Patients were running about, just as he had heard they would.

If what else he had been told was also true, it was certainly dangerous, but it was also his only chance to investigate. Pushing the door wide open, Faize stepped out into the dark halls.
