The nurse looked between the two. "Nathan's having a panic attack," she said, shifting to a concerned, almost motherly tone of voice as soon as she realized the boy's actions were no longer a case of simply acting out.

"I think it would be best to give him a low dose of medicine. It should help," she said to Kakashi, not waiting for the reply. She began filling a syringe with a smaller amount of the sedatives than she would normally use - enough to calm the boy, but not too much. "You'll be able to breathe better soon," she said, as she wiped a spot on his arm with an alcohol pad, then injected the sedative as gently as she could.

"Mr. Bolger, please keep an eye on him for the rest of the shift? If he needs a little more medicine, please let me know."
