ZEX was busy examining his flower, wondering whether human plants reproduced the same way as some of the plants back at Luyten (did they produce methane?), and he wasn't paying too much attention to his surroundings. At the sound of a human voice, he turned to face it with what he hoped was a friendly smile.

"Ah, you must be-" He was speaking to someone's chest. ZEX took a step back and tilted his head back a bit jerkily to look up. "Hmm! You're big too! I didn't think there'd be so many humans here that were bigger than I am..." Somehow, he'd always imagined himself having a physical advantage.

Well, no matter. ZEX tried his best at a smile, although he still hadn't mastered the art of making it look natural. "Yes, I'm Admiral ZEX. I don't think I caught your name though..."
