Naruto's first instinct reaction was to misinterpret Kakashi's words. He didn't know why but he suddenly felt panicked, his heart wild in his chest and this deep rooted fear creeping up on him. What Kakashi said just meant that he'd just had to spend a long time in bed again, right?

Right? That's what it had to mean. It couldn't be anything else.

"So you spent a long time in bed again?" Naruto asked, a crooked smile he couldn't quite muster crossing his lips. He was shaking again, even if his brain didn't want to understand what his teacher was telling him.

"Right?" He said again, his voice trailing off as if he didn't believe his own words.
