Artemis looked a little surprised when Kakashi shut his book and actually started talking to him. Which meant this wasn't just a passing interest--this was actually something important. He thought. God, where was Haku, Artemis was getting nervous that he'd inadvertently stepped on a land mine.

"Well," Artemis looked around nervously. He leaned on the table with his elbows, trying to get some sort of privacy. "The truth is... I hear voices in my head. They shout about how miserable they are."

Artemis flashed a grin. "That would be interesting, wouldn't it? And would probably make you think I belonged here, hm?"
