While Peter didn't see any harm in teasing between friends, he was a bit taken aback when Soujirou tried to pull him into it as well. It was only a wink, but Peter still faltered for a moment before nodding. "I guess I'll wish you luck?" He didn't want to overstep any bounds, but that seemed safe enough to say without offending either of them.
Thankfully, Homura's request that he watch the door quickly changed the subject, and Peter turned to do just that. There were still some late patients trickling in, and he could only hope that Sylar would show his face soon enough. It had been hard for Peter to pin down any characteristics that were specific to the murderer (except for maybe his eyebrows), so actually getting to point him out would be a large step in the right direction.
It also would have helped if he could draw, but he only had that skill when he was using Isaac's power -- and even then, it wasn't like he could choose what he drew.
"Yeah, I'll definitely let you know," he said, somewhat distracted as he continued to eye the door. He was forced to look away for a split second when there was an outburst from one of the female patients, but it obviously wasn't anything too important, and so he returned his gaze to the entrance soon after that. It looked like Homura was curious about it, so Peter would get to hear the details anyway.
It was good to hear that this club had a lot of figurative firepower behind it, but Peter still wasn't convinced. Sylar had managed to take down Elle when he'd had little to no powers and she'd had a decent amount, after all. On the other hand, there was strength in numbers, so maybe the club would be all right.
Once again, Peter was forced to look away from the door, this time because Homura was staring him down. He didn't need to be reminded about how powerless he was here, but Peter also understood that the man was justified in asking him about this. "I have gone up against him here before," he explained. "More than once, actually. I was there when he killed her." He glanced down for a moment; he knew it would be understandable if these men judged him for his inability to do anything. Still, he'd already judged himself enough.
"Believe me, I know I'm not in good shape... But that doesn't mean I'm going to give up. I can't let him run around and do whatever he wants." Peter looked up again and returned Homura's hard stare. This wasn't something he was going to back down on. "I don't care if I'm at risk," he finished bluntly.
